Thornwood Tigers LOVE their Astros1

Keeping Every Child safe starts with awareness, education and open conversations.
SBISD Police encourages families to talk with their children about firearm safety, including the importance of never handling a firearm and knowing what to do if they encounter one:
Never touch it.
Leave the area immediately.
Tell a trusted adult.
Take a few minutes to watch this important safety message and continue the conversation at home.

Please consider being a part of our Project Advisory Team - to work with our rebuild of Thornwood.

Thank you, TWE PTA, for all you do to support our Tiger Family🐯

The Spring Branch Education Foundation (SBEF) brought some exciting news to campuses across SBISD, surprising teachers and staff with more than $300,000 in grants for the 2026–27 school year. We went along for the ride to capture their reactions. Thank you to the Foundation, its board and our generous community for investing in our educators and supporting our promise to inspire minds and shape lives for Every Child. Visit the SBEF website to see a complete listing of grant winners. Watch the video to share in the celebration.
